lyrics
(Poem)
Early morning vibrations from my phone. I look at it, its my brother. I felt something was wrong. I pick up, hesitation, silently he grasp for air tryna hiccup an explanation. I knew what it had to be, his heart cries out from the first words he said to me.
Chorus
She telling me, that it's over,
She telling me, that it's over
(Repeat 4X)
(Poem)
They say all good things come to an end
I hate that cease has to begin with my friend
maybe this situation is being exaggerated
I'm in position to deflate his mental state before things get elevated
my full attention is given
So he can open up and heat can vented
I thought yall was winning, I'm ready I'm listening
Tell me from the beginning
Verse 1
See, it was just the other day when I called her,
And I thought that it was just like any other.
Then she said that we was having problems, and I said "baby, that's OK cause we can solve them."
Then she said, no baby, I'm done, I'm done. I said please don't leave me
I'm sorry, I will change but she said, "its best we go our separate ways"
Now It's over
Chorus
She telling me, that it's over,
She telling me, that it's over, It's over
(Repeat 4X)
Demond: Tell me what do I do?
(Poem)
The question cries out from a heart that's hurt bruised and confused. A time or two I've been on the other end of the line, reaching for a life line to keep a grown man from dying. Drowning in an ocean of pain, desperately needing to stay afloat. Its hurts me as I'm saying it cause I didn't want to hear it once before, my brother, I think you need to let her go
Verse 2
Ooooh noooo, I cant cause that's my baby
(yes that's my baby, yes that's my baby no)
And I was prepared to give her my name and its a shame,
She don't feel the same and I hate feeling this pain, I loved her
Then she said, "no baby, I'm done, I'm done"
I tried, please don't leave me, baby I will change
But she said its best we go our separate ways
Chorus
She telling me, that it's over,
She telling me, that it's over, It's over
(Repeat)
